 The 38TXA air conditioner uses
Puron refrigerant
instead of Freon 22 thus minimizing the damaging effects of ozone depletion. It also helps reduce the costs of future serviceability because Puron
refrigerant air conditioners are cheaper to service than models using Freon 22. Puron Refrigerant is more energy efficient and products with Puron refrigerant offer
superior hear transfer capabilities. As a result, the 38TXA can provide comfort all summer long
with improved electrical savings while it's helping to preserve ozone.
The 38TXA provides comfort without the sound. The 38TXA is equipped with the  Silencer System that includes four features that ensure extra-quiet cooling. First it has
top that ensures easy airflow through the out door unit to minimize sound typically associated with turbulent air. Second, a low-speed fan motor with large-diameter fan blades
adds to the quiet. Third, a compressor vibration isolator plate made of special vibration-absorbing material surrounded by two metal
plates is mounted underneath the compressor. This plate captures vibrational noise from the compressor. And Fourth, a sound muffling hood
that further reduces sound by blanketing the compressor with sound-absorbing materials.
